About this unit
A mid-90s MIPS/IRIX workstation, the class of machine that rendered film CGI before render farms went x86. High IMPACT graphics push real geometry rather than the polygon budget you remember from games of the era. For someone who wants IRIX on original iron, not an emulator.
Condition
Grade B: fully working, honest wear. The teal is even with light shelf marks on the top panel and no cracks. The PSU has been recapped and the RTC/NVRAM battery moved to a socketed CR2032 so it will not leak again; POST log and a memtest pass are on file. Buy it to run IRIX, not to shelf as mint.
