ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 280

Overview

Two 140mm fans move more air at lower RPM than a 240, which is the case for stepping up to 280mm. No lighting and no screen, just the cooling and the same board-cooling VRM fan. If your case takes a 280, this is the quiet, honest choice.

    Quiet and effective

The 140mm fans stay near silent under my normal load. Holds a 9700X easily. No RGB but I did not want any. Excellent price.

    Great cooler, confirm 280 mount

Not every case takes a 280 radiator, so measure first. Once fitted it is excellent. The VRM fan and thick rad do real work.

    Value cooling for 280 cases

If your case is a 280 chassis this is the pick. Thick radiator, VRM fan, six-year warranty. Only reason for four stars is the tight rad clearance.

    Two 140mm fans beat a 240

For cases that take a 280, the bigger fans move more air at lower RPM. Cools my 7800X3D cool and quiet. Same great value as the 360.
