Version 1.0.0Effective July 23, 2026

The rules for posting, reviewing, and behaving in the getDARC community, and how we enforce them.

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy governs everything you contribute to getDARC: forum posts and replies, build showcases, product reviews, images, files, and any other user-generated content you upload or submit.

By posting, you agree to these rules. They apply alongside our Terms of Service; where a purchase or account term conflicts, the Terms of Service control on that point.

2. Eligibility

The getDARC community is for adults. You must be 18 or older to hold an account or post content. We do not knowingly permit accounts for anyone under 18, and we remove accounts we learn belong to minors.

You are responsible for everything posted from your account. Keep your credentials private and your two-factor authentication enabled.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

You may not post content or engage in conduct that is illegal, abusive, or designed to harm other members or the platform. The list below is representative, not exhaustive; we apply its spirit, not only its letter.

  • Illegal content, or content that facilitates illegal activity.
  • Harassment, threats, stalking, or targeted abuse of any member.
  • Hate speech or content attacking people on the basis of a protected characteristic.
  • Spam, unsolicited advertising, and repetitive or low-value promotional posting.
  • Scalping schemes, resale rings, and coordinated attempts to corner limited stock.
  • Malware, exploits, or links intended to compromise devices or accounts.
  • Doxxing or publishing another person's private information without consent.
  • Impersonating getDARC staff, another member, or any real person or organization.
  • Off-platform sale offers that route buyers around our verification, escrow, and safety checks.

4. Intellectual property

Post only what you have the rights to post. Do not upload text, images, benchmarks, or files that infringe someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.

You keep ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant getDARC a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content on and in connection with the platform, so we can show it to other members. If you believe content infringes your copyright, see our DMCA Policy for how to submit a notice.

5. Reviews integrity

Reviews on getDARC are verified-purchase only: a review is tied to an actual order for the product being reviewed. We do this so ratings reflect real ownership rather than manufactured sentiment.

We do not publish fake, AI-fabricated, or insider reviews, and we do not accept incentivized reviews without clear disclosure of the incentive. We also do not suppress or delete genuine negative reviews. An honest one-star review that meets this policy stays up; radical transparency includes the parts that did not go well.

6. Moderation and enforcement

Members can report content through the report control on each post. Reports enter a moderation queue where we assess them against this policy.

Our available actions escalate with severity: we may flag, hide, or delete content, and warn, suspend, or ban an account. Trust levels gate certain actions for new accounts as an anti-spam measure and expand as a member establishes a track record. We aim to act proportionately, and we record moderation decisions.

7. Repeat-infringer and repeat-offender policy

Accounts that repeatedly violate this policy, or that are the subject of repeated valid copyright notices, are terminated. Repeat copyright infringement in particular results in loss of posting privileges and account termination.

We track violations across an account's history so that a pattern of behavior, not only a single incident, informs enforcement.

8. Appeals

If you believe a moderation action against your content or account was mistaken, you may appeal by contacting us. We will review the decision and the context and respond.

An appeal is a genuine second look, not a formality. We reverse actions we got wrong, and we explain actions we uphold.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy, reports that need a human, and appeals all reach us at [email protected].
